I think you should get all of her Holiday releases …

I just remembered that Patsy Moore releases annual Christmas music when she recently shared one in a social media update. I don’t feel great about that since I call myself a fan.
Released about 11 years ago, “Winter Wonderland” (Volume I) is part of Moore’s two-track Yuletide (Volume I) release. I think the both tracks are a lovely introduction to Moore’s creative vibe — seamless integration of deeply soulful Eastern and Western genres, smart lyrical phrasing, and a meditative musical delivery that energizes without franticness or banality.
The opening percussion of “Winter Wonderland” sets up an ethereal mood for the entire track and sounds like it was made for a film score — not a complete surprise since TV and film soundtracks are a part of Moore’s impressive resume. I also dig her reimagined vocal treatment for “Silent Night”, the other track from Yuletide (Volume I).

If your taste is beyond clichéd Christmas music, I suggest visiting Moore’s Bandcamp page to pick up “Winter Wonderland” or download the entire release. While you’re there, explore additional goodies from her discography.
