38 percent of Americans believe Islam encourages more violence than other religions according to a recent CBS poll.

The same poll says 29 percent of Americans have an unfavorable view of Islam.

A Brookings poll says 61 percent of Americans view Islam unfavorably.

The aftermath of the Paris and San Bernardino mass shootings — both of which involved Muslim attackers — finds that a majority of Americans view terrorism as the top issue facing the United States.

I should note that most Americans had the same high-priority view of terrorism before Paris and San Bernardino.

Since at least a third of you (or 46 percent of likely voters) are supporters of Presidential candidate Donald Trump’s proposal for a ban on Muslims entering the US, I have to ask: do you think Muslims in America should be permitted to carry guns?
